How often should I pest control my house?

The manufacturers of pest control products recommend a pest control treatment for your home every three months. We recommend a treatment every six months and many of our customers prefer once a year treatments. For commercial clients we recommend quarterly treatments (food premises need monthly pest treatment). American pest control companies push for monthly residential treatments, Australian pest control companies push for quarterly treatments for residential customers and monthly pest treatments for commercial customers.

Can I do pest control myself?

Almost all pest control poisonings occur from people trying to do it themselves. You can most certainly complete pest control yourself, please follow all written instructions and wear personal protective equipment. Please do not double dose, this does not make it work any better or longer. Baiting is often safe and better than using chemicals. Products made in Australia, the USA and Canada are far superior. Check manufacturing dates and expiration dates. The fresher the bait the better.
